If your motorhome has a maximum permissible weight of 3.5 tons or less, you must buy an e-vignette.
Special Exemption Rule: Normally, vehicles with a height of over 1.3 meters at the front axle fall into the more expensive Class 2B. However, motorhomes are an exception. As long as your vehicle is officially registered as a motorhome (camping vehicle) in your registration documents, you are allowed to use the cheaper class 2A (vehicle height below 1.3m on front axle).
Please note: Campervans that are not officially registered as camping vehicles will always need the more expensive Class 2B e-vignette unless the vehicle height at the front axle is below 1.3 meters.
All vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of over 3.5 tonnes are subject to the distance based toll system DarsGo.
