The DarsGo system is an electronic toll system for heavy vehicles with a maximum technically permissible mass of over 3.5 tonnes, in which the toll is charged based on the distance travelled, amount of axles, EURO and CO2-class.
The key element of the system is the DarsGo device (OBU), which is installed in the vehicle. This device communicates with antennas installed above motorways and expressways (toll portals), which record the distance travelled. The driver is then charged a toll based on this distance.
