Yes, if your vehicle it taken off the street permanently, you might be able to request a refund under certain conditions:
- Yearly vignettes only (weekly/ monthly vignettes are NOT eligible)
- Vehicle has been deregistered in the last registered country
- Refund must be requested within 30 days of removing from the register
- Provide official proof from your home country's motor vehicle registry (e.g., DVLA in the UK, ADAC/Zulassungsstelle in Germany) showing the car has been scrapped, sold abroad, or permanently taken off the road
- Provide certified translations if documents are NOT english or slovenian
- Refund is proportional (e.g. yearly vignette used 6 month = 50% refund minus service fee)
- Provide the e-vignette ID number (from your receipt)
